Our haunted house
About 18 years ago myself my wife and our two children lived in a very haunted house! When my wife use to sit and watch t.v. in our living room she would hear feet shuffiling around upstairs. She would also hear children playing ring around the rosie. When she would go upstairs to investigate she could hear the sound of children laughing and could literally hear them "hiding". I use to collect Indian and tribal things. I had a huge throw that was of indian decent and I would hand it on the wall of what ever place we lived. I attempted three times to hang this above our couch. The first two times it was pulled off the wall. On my third attempt I was knocked across the room. These are just a couple of the many things that plauged us while we lived in this house- Bobbie
The Basement
When I was growing up I lived in a house where like many others the washer and dryer were located in the basement. We also had a shower and a sink down there. It started by the dryer shutting off for no reason. Then the clothes would seem to come out of the dryer and get thrown onto the floor. Next it moved to the shower being turned on and running all by itself. Sometimes when I was home alone the phone would ring and I would pick it up and it would be beeping like the call was coming from somewhere inside the house. Things would constantly be moved pictures would be knocked over. After a while it seemed to be come routine. We always thought that it was a poltergiest and we use to joke about it too. Noone ever got hurt. I do not know who lives there now but I am glad that its not me- Vicky
The girl in the Attic-
There is a house on 7th street in the city that I live in that when I was younger I use to deliver a newspaper to. IT is a very old beautiful victorian which is set back quite aways from the sidewalk and street. Unlike the others on that street. A couple weeks after I started delevering the paper I noticed that there was a little girl who would stand in the upstairs window when I would deliver the paper. This was always one of the first houses that I delievered to on my route. I found out the first time that I collected the money from this house that it was a VERY elderly lady who lived there. And that she lived alone. She said that no children had lived in that house for many many years!- Chrissy
The House on Queen Street-
We use to live in a house on Queen Street, that well was strange! Our basement was always warm, and our upstairs was always cold. We would have problems with our lights. Toys would go on and off on their own. There were faces and other strange things coming up in our pictures. We are still not sure exactly what was causing everything. As far as we know noone ever died there. Now it is being renovated and we no longer live there. I wonder what else will go on!- Jen
